The congregation now consists of approximately 1,500 attendees, meeting in three locations throughout the island. The main venue in Palma currently hosts five services each weekend. The central Mallorca location in Inca has three services, and the northern Mallorca location in Alcudia has two services per weekend. They also have fifty-five home groups meeting regularly, as well as a ministry campground where retreats and summer ministry camps take place.
The church is committed to worship, bible teaching, discipleship, and aggressive evangelism. In addition to encouraging their people to be active in sharing the gospel with their friends and neighbors by inviting them to their home groups, they are reaching out to the poor with regular outreaches with food, hygiene, and health ministries at their rural ministry camp. They have effective discipleship ministries, ministering to children, youth, and adults through Sunday School, Bible college extension, leadership training, music classes, food banks, and more.
Mallorca Christian Center is staffed by only three full-time pastors and one administrative secretary. They have worked diligently to develop a team of lay leaders and ministers who are motivated and competent to minister in many non-compensated roles to effectively reach their island.
God is moving in a miraculous way in an otherwise deserted place. Leaders raised up, personal sacrifices made, so much is getting done with so little. That is “The Mallorca Miracle!”
